Point To Any Other IP Address For Free With No Banner Ads!
Our IP Address
Web Site Pointing is a great free
feature when you use our nameservers.
After an easy configuration in your domain control panel, your domain can
be pointing to any other IP Address
on the Internet.
With IP Address Pointing, after you type
in your domain name the page resolves to the IP Address. You may have your
own IP address or have been given an IP address by a hosting company. This can give you added branding
perception for your domain name.

To use IP Address Pointing you must be
using our nameservers. If the "Hosts" section is visible (see below)
in your domain control panel you are using our nameservers. (New
domain registrations default to our nameservers). To configure IP
Address Pointing select and type in the settings below changing the IP address for the
Host Name "@" with the specific IP address you want your domain to be
redirected to.
Remove any other default
settings including any parking page default settings.
Please note that the setting
above for the "www" pointed to the host "@" insures that people will be
able to access your site with or without the "www" typed in the browser.
Scroll down to the bottom of
the page and click on "Modify" to save your changes.
If your domain is a new
registration you can pre-configure these settings, but please note that it
can take 24-36 hours for a new domain to be fully updated or propagated
across the Internet.
If your domain has been
registered longer than 1-2 days your changes will take affect usually
within 5-60 minutes. Type your domain name into a new browser and
check the resolution.

Having the option of using IP
Address pointing give you greater flexibility in maximizing the management
of your domain. You could choose to update the nameservers for your
domain to that of your hosting company - giving your hosting company full
control of the function of your domain including both email function and
browser web page resolution. The second option is to use our
nameservers and use IP Address pointing to the IP address your web hosting
company has assigned to your domain. This allows normal hosting
function to be controlled by your hosting company, but gives you more
options regarding sub domain set-up for free.
You can create up to 100 sub
domains for free using our nameservers such as
home.yourdomain.com or
ftp.yourdomain.com. For each sub
domain you can configure a separate web pointing protocol choosing between
URL Frame, URL Redirect or IP Address Pointing. Many web hosting
companies charges extra for each sub domain but you can create up 100 for
free on our system.
